Marriage of William Walker and Amelia Robinson
William and Amelia married on Sunday, 29 July 1849, at Manchester Cathedral. William was a 23 year old bachelor and lived in Denton. He was a shoemaker and his father, John, was a twister. Amelia was a 23 year old spinster and also lived in Denton. She gave no occupation and her father, William, was a twister. William could sign his name, but Amelia could not. The witnesses were Isabella and William Morrison.
